I know, we're crazy, we actually went to the theater last night. We were there to see a different movie, and we got to observe the lines and lines of young girls, teenage girls, and women waiting to see the midnight showing of Eclipse. I wonder if Stephenie Meyer ventured to any theaters last night, just to take a look at what she started!
Since the vampire wave has taken the nation, girls from as young as six and up have become entranced by the Twilight world and are taking sides -- Team Edward or Team Jacob. At the heart of the series is an intense and dangerous young love blossoming amid a supernatural world filled with vampires and werewolves -- not the usual fare for young kids. On the other hand, the story is relatively mild as far as language goes, and the lead vampire practices abstinence. With all of the Twilight mania spanning most age groups, parents may be wondering whether or not the movies are suitable for their own kids.
