Even before a release date is available, Disney's Tangled movie (Four-Disc Combo: Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy pack) has made the Amazon top 100 list in Movies and TV, and is sitting at number four in the animated movies category.
The movie has done well in theaters, and has impressed audiences with a boisterous adventure story set in a beautifully animated and charming world.  Judging from the pre-sale numbers, DVD and Blu-ray sales will certainly make the big mouse smile. But, even though the movie was not available for holiday purchasing, Rapunzel still had a prominent place under the Christmas tree.
All of the toy and other Rapunzel merchandise has been available for a while now, and at our house, we had a total of four Tangled inspired gifts that were opened by happy little girls this holiday season. The success of the movie and merchandise is fitting. Tangled marks the 50th fully animated Walt Disney Feature, and the movie is living up to this distinguished place in history and earning its place as a Disney classic.
